CowPope Mobile was initiated as an installation work for Houston's Cow Parade where it was rejected due to its political content. It was resurrected into an Art Car for the Houston Art Car Parade 2001. The CowPope advocates against the death penalty for cows. It has gone to join the Catholic protestors at Huntsville's death row watch, attended Boston's Holy Cross Cathedral Easter Sunday and attended Mel Gibson's 'Passion of Christ' premier where It was nearly destroyed. |
